Our penthouse is 1500 square feet with spectacular views. Both bedrooms are en suite (ie have their own luxury bathrooms with tub, shower and double sink). The master has a king bed and the other one is a kids room with two twin beds. We also have an air mattress. The rest of the apartment is an open layout with a large screen TV (cable and wifi included) and a desktop Mac which you are free to use. A small terrace overlooks the city and has a cafe table and gas grill.
Our kitchen is fully equipped with a Bosch stove, gourmet 6 burner stove and all the appliances you could need (we are big cooks.) There is also a miele washer and dryer in the apartment itself, plus a gas fireplace for cozy nights and central air conditioning for the summer. The amenities in this building are outrageous. In addition to working out anytime in a luxurious, clean gym, you can even play basketball on a full size court or watch a film in the screening room. The gorgeous and heated indoor pool comes with a sauna, steamroom, jacuzzi and fully stocked locker rooms.
We are a 5 minute walk from the L train which is one stop to Manhattan. The East River Ferry stops at our doorstep and is a wonderful, easy way to travel to downtown and midtown Manhattan, Queens and other Brooklyn neighborhoods. Our neighborhood is probably one of the hottest in the city in terms of new designer shops, music venues, clubs, bars and most famously restaurants. You will not need a car here but if you have one, we also have a parking space in an underground garage.
The doormen and building staff are here to help in any way. We have lived in the neighborhood for a long time so we will be happy to provide you with any guidance you need.
